On the Thursday 5th June Cardens Accountants celebrated 8 years in business. To celebrate our success we held a Brazilian World Cup themed Birthday party in the Boundary rooms of the Sussex County Cricket Club in Hove.
The evening was covered in glorious sunshine and it seemed to be the start of summer!
There was football tables, Brazilian dancers from the Brighton School of Samba, as well as Cuban cocktail maker Hector, who was dangerously dishing out Caprihanas to all the guests.
A night filled with laughter, games and drinks, with Cardens’ guests coming together to help celebrate another year of success for both ourselves and our clients.
Things got loud and competitive on the football tables and the “guess how many balls?” competition raised over £200 for Rockinghorse and Chestnut Tree House charities.
All in all, the event was a perfect way to catch football fever ready for the World Cup!
‘Once again Cardens Accountants prove they’re young at heart and a wonderful company to do business with’ – Paul Fletcher (Paul Fletcher Photography)
“I really enjoyed Cardens World Cup Brazilian themed party. As always Cardens put on a fun filled event which included carnival dancers, cocktails, table football and great company. I was particularly chuffed to be the runner up in the “guess how many balls are in the box competition” and won a huge box of delicious luxury chocolates with proceeds from the competition going to a wonderful local charity, Chestnut Tree house”. – Gemma Hope (Mayo Wynne Baxter LLP)
“We are thrilled to be one of the beneficiaries of Cardens’ 8th Birthday party and I would like to thank them for their continued and generous support’’ – Sarah Arnold (Corporate Fundraising Manager at Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice)
