On Thursday 5th May Cardens Accountants in Hove celebrated their 10th Birthday party. In November 2014 Cardens moved to new premises ‘The Old Casino’ above The Hove Club on Fourth Avenue as they had literally outgrown their previous offices. Barry said “I am really proud of what we have achieved over the last 10 years, not just as a firm but all the advice, support and help we have given local businesses and their owners. We are looking forward to what the next 10 years hold for us”
The firm was founded by Barry Carden on 1 April 2006 with just 10 members of staff. There are now today over 40 staff and 2 further partners Victoria Mason and Keith Hall. Victoria said “We have a such fabulous team but we are always looking to recruit more quality staff so we can continue to help deliver excellent service to our clients”.
Cardens works with a cross section of businesses across Brighton and Hove and provide Audit and Tax services as well as accounts preparation and personal tax returns. The firm is committed to giving 1% of turnover to charity and have over the years supported various local Charites including Chestnut Tree Hospice, where they have regularly ‘paid for a day’. Barry also danced for Rockinghorse at the midsummer ball last year raising £7,000.
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us.
